Maryland Citizens Against Vandalism (MCAV) is a non-profit, non-partisan organization of taxpayers and voters dedicated to reducing and eliminating spray-paint (“graffiti”) vandalism throughout Maryland. We are citizens who are disgusted with the proliferation of spray-paint vandalism in our communities, cities, and roadways and who are dissatisfied with the weak and inconsistent response to this social problem from the state, county, and local governments. MCAV wants government at all levels within Maryland to respond to spray-paint vandalism in the following manner:

• Clean it properly
• Legislate against it harshly
• Investigate it effectively
• Prosecute it appropriately
